Three Ducks Hostel is where I stayed last summer. Fantastic place, cheap and alwaya good bunch of travelers. Plus decent beer that's affordable, and free breakfast/internet.

Etape hotels where part of the Tour caravan, sadly despite much shouting they did not give out any free rooms :-(. However the float did seem to suggest that the price was about £40.

check out the excellent ethiopian resteraunt just near the panthenon
Do any of you know any cheap places / hostels to stay in/near Paris. A small group of us are going over there for the final stage on the 29th and will need somewhere to kip. Don't care about condition etc, just looking for a roof over our heads
I seem to remember that a few users on here live or used to live in Paris... any recommendations?
