Ok I don't like to needlesly bash motorist for no reason as I think most are just trying to get where they are goin safely and do not wish harm on anyone. One of the big problems I think there is however is the fact that drver do not tend to need to concentrate as much as cyclists, hence they start doing other things like talking on phones e.t.c
So a new safty feature stated in the BBC here talks of cars talking to eachother and giving warnings to me it seems like a recipey for even more lazy driving, because remember the computers will not be looking out for bikes will they. I think the intention is good but human nature will make it more dangorous.
