Can anyone tell me of a good set of wheels for around £150.

asm Forgive my ignorance but where in relation to brick lane is brick lane bikes? I just bought a frame for 48 quid including shipping from ebay, planning to build it into a fixie if it's rideable (i never like to get my hopes up with ebay purchases hehe). I will need everything apart from the frame, the seatpost and the bb (the frame comes with a set of forks, and a TDC bb and seatpost). The seller doesnt sound like he knows much about bikes and i think it's been in storage for a good few years so I may need absolutely everything apart from the frame.

Budget about 250-£300 for everything... those wheels sound pretty good. will look them up when i'm back in the smoke.

Any advice would be appreciated!

alex, when you're back in london, let me know if you need a hand with the bike. i'm building one up from scratch at the moment, so i can show you what you need to do. if you want to build your wheels, i can also go through that with you.
