One of my favourite sights at the giro this year was watching the pre race festivities where they let all the local cycling clubs parade up the last Kilometre of the course - some fantastically large chaps who tested the tensile qualities of lycra to it's limit on the most beautiful colnagos and pinarellos

were they Track bikes?
