mate picked up his brand new bob jackson from putney cycles today - lovely, clean bike. Wondering if any other good old northern bike makers will be sorting out London concessions....

Nice. Putney Cycles was where i got my first proper bike at 13ish. It was Action Bikes then, looks like its changed a bit ;)

That's gorgeous. The black works really well on that, especially with the white touches.

think they've done a really considered job -

apparently that's how they're speccing them out in the shop, that or you can just buy the frame. All the full time staff there ride fixed so they seem to know what they're about

It looks good - it has quite a long wheel-base, almost like an Audax frame - is it a custom build, or off the peg?

think they're getting the 'off the peg' frames and then building them up in the shop to their own spec...

Ahhh, ok, cool - I forgot that you didn't get it direct from BJ..... looks real nice - I have a friend who has just ordered an off the peg from BJ in black - he asked for no decals! I wonder if that will look good or not, as the decals on yours are really smart in white! He has a 6 week wait though!
