Could we get some specially branded versions of those reflectors-on-a-stick that stick out the side of your bike to make you especially safe? No idea what they're called, when I was a kid we all called them "dongers".

Thanks for all your replies. I may stick some 'spokey dokeys' on my spokes and see if I start something.

When I rode to Brighton (not on the BHF ride, it was a CTC ride) there were two fixies with spokey-dokeys. They (the riders) couldn't explain this affliction.

rakan Jon whats the sunday night club thing?
Brick Lane Bikes is one year old on Sunday and they are having a party at the club Red&Green (???) On the corner of REDchurch St and Bethnal GREEN road.... I can't remember it's name, but it's something like that....
Anyway, they told me to invite as many people as possible.... but when I have the full details I'll put up a proper post with times and address.... Are you going to go Rakan?

It's really good (expensive tho). Went there for friends b'day last year.. then headed over to Tea Bar until 3am.. then ran in the London 10k next morning.. urgh..
Stella and Fosters are last ditch beers only.
It must always be cold and if it's cold.. it still isn't cold enough.
