the hubs must last a long time, I thought my rear hub was 3rd hand, but found out that it belonged to Winston first, then another dude before my mate had it, he then sold the bike it was on to another mate who gave me the hub. I put in new bearings and built it up. 5th hand, probably 5-6 years old and I expect it to last at least another 5.
