  • but I still really like the Condor "LAVORO" frame. Am I going mad?

  • I think it looks quite smart. I like the cut outs on the seat tubes.

Just because it's aluminium doesn't mean it's not as good as steel, though. Sheldon has (what I thought to be) quite an informative article on tubing myths.

  • Even I like it, and I'm a bit of a purist..... I would have trouble with the Aluminium - not because I think it's worse than steel, just because I don't like the feel of it

  • it's really badly made, look they had to saw a bit out of the seat tube to get the tyre in. silly boys.

  • RPM it's really badly made, look they had to saw a bit out of the seat tube to get the tyre in. silly boys.
    haha.

  • it sure is purty

  • actually...a mate of mine is meant to be getting his filthy mits on one of those..

I think they look pretty nice

  • call me an idiot but i don't get the bit about it sloping the wrong way.
do you mean the top tube?

still, refreshing to see a new condor that doesn't have 'condor' emblazoned on it in huge writing.
(or rather they wrote it on and then went for the huge tub of red tippex.)

  • i think it looks pretty mean

  • that's nice

  • natureboy still, refreshing to see a new condor that doesn't have 'condor' emblazoned on it in huge writing.

    Yeah, the decal looks turd.

  • condor for the pixelled generation

  • Just what is Taiwanese for Condor?

  • Giant

  • i saw a tiny blonde girl messengering on one of these on marylebone a couple months ago. was an odd combo. she looked more the type to have pink rims and wraps than some mean black knight rider looking thing.

  • I've seen one of these on Bayswater Rd. Thought they were a bit too track specific (flashy) for the road but guess not. I like 'em.

  • i saw one riding up broadway mkt it looks cool but for £950 not cool enough, and it's semi compact geometry, you either love it or....

  • saw one locked up outside sainsbury's on tottenham ct rd a while ago... was wondering what it is wouldn't have guessed it's a condor.

  • natureboy call me an idiot but i don't get the bit about it sloping the wrong way.

Yeah the top tube. Traditionally they are horizontal or sloping forward.

I like the Decals kind of reminds me of Black Flag's (the band) Logo.

  • woo

  • hippy I've seen one of these on Bayswater Rd. Thought they were a bit too track specific (flashy) for the road but guess not. I like 'em.
Yeah I thought that too. Wonder how it handles on London's Roads. Apparantley the frame utilises Dedacciai Force tubing which is "ultra stiff"

  • MA3K woo
Woo Woo. You left a bottle round mine. Want me to bring it on Sat?

  • Yes please.

my road bike is aluminium and it's way harsh on London roads. With those fat tubes up there, I'm guessing this would be even harsher. Guess you could get a nice sprung saddle for it?

  • dedacciai, that's the name, i've got that tubing on my bareknuckle, and yeh, it's extremely stiff.
