Well I got the BMX out for a pic. As I say, its for sale, Tommy got first dibs on her. The paint has many scratches on the underside of the downtube and edges of the forks, apart from that its a bit dirty. The saddle is one of those solid plastic ones, thats been nicely mullered.
First time I really noticed, it has some pretty serious track ends. If no one buys it, I'm gonna cut them out and put them in an old road frame.

Wow, calm down guys. I'm not going to use those BMX ends in a road bike, apart from destroying a perfectly good BMX frame, I can see several other reasons why it wouldn't work. I meant it as a joke, but guess it wasn't that funny. Sorry.
Tommy, you still interested in the BMX?
Julian, I do have a tubeset for what will be "Project Bob Jackson" I have most of the lugs too. Its Reynolds 753 tubing which actualy required the frame builder to have a license to make frames from it. Thats why I'm gonna leave it to Bob Jackson (who have 3 licensed 753 builders) rather then attempt it myself.

one of my bikes is an old team raleigh 753r i tried to find out a bit more and read up on the tubing i never realised it was that hard / technical to weld certain steels i suppose the 753 is a bit different lighter different composites but as far as welding i though steel was steel the reynolds blurb stated only licenced people could do it bizarre well good luck with it i believe tommy the brick is also doing a frame build himself very interested to see the end results ( ride the end results ) what name will you be giving your bikes tommo-sini maybe you could open it to the forum to design a name / decal set for the two bikes !!!! although riding around on a f*uckwit might not be quite as fun as a speedfast xl2000
confession discussion now.........
