people don't leave bikes outside pubs round here..
and I don't see too many fixed gears about
but it must be quite mainstream now, you don't get the funny looks from other cyclists that often anymore..
although, Richmond park last sunday..must have been 200+ bikes, only 3 fixed and one of those was mine. Lots of carbon bling machines being ridden by rich young men who then get changed into sports-casuals, pack the bike up and drive away in new German cars..did someone say cycling is the new golf? cos I said it last sunday...
