  • I got three Hokey Spokes from the USA (red, white, blue) and use them on my rear wheel in the winter.
    Fantastic, but I can't see them... :-(

A couple of mates also bought them - they are kinda cool, but 9xAA batteries aren't lightweight !
    Good winter resistance training though.

Not cheap at $20USD each either.

  • am i the only one that thinks they are cool as fuck?

NEON BIKE NEON BIKE NEON BIKE!!!

  • A friend of mine mounted a couple of neon downlighters on his bike... Looked pretty cool except for all the wires and insulating tape hanging off everywhere (he's not much of a craftsman). That and the constant attention he got from fat kids on full-suspension bikes from Halfords.

  • a guy ( dan ) on the stonhenge ride has covered his bike with that scotchlite reflective material check out the flash photos from hippy very reflective though does need to be lit does a good job

  • there's no chance of someone saying "sorry mate didn't see you"

  • You reckon the cops would bust him for having no lights?

  • photoben You reckon the cops would bust him for having no lights?

    Yep.

    But he has lights.

  • haha, that's awesome.

i wonder how weather proof that is. would be useful - make you more visible obviously and it'd put thieves off nicking it...well, perhaps. total sh1tbags.
