Pace was quite high at the start (I was happy when Dazz said we'd slow down) but towards the end I know I was feeling pretty knackered and Dazz wasn't exactly enjoying the hills. Julian was flying, especially for someone who hadn't ridden that particular bike for 9mths? I'm not sure we'd have made it on time riding fixed. Those rolling hills take their toll.
