The BMX is a 2003 Scwinn 'Jay Miron' Signature, I don't really know much about BMXs. It was one of those alcohol induced eBay buys. I've had it three years, it was my campus cruiser and pub bike at university. The brakes on it were really shit, so I put on a set of Tektro FX-30s which were better, I took the giro off then, the best trick I could do was probably falling off, I still have the giro. It has 48 spoke Alex rims, 10mm front axle, 14 rear. As you probably guessed, I don't know anything about BMXs. Oh I bought some Maxxis 'Holy Rollers' for it, they just looked pimp.
Its really heavy, 4130 Cr-Mo, theres probably enough steel in it to make three Surly Steamrollers.
Anyway, I'm rambling, top tube is 52cm centre to centre, I'm measuring that along the tube from head tube to seat tube.
Its £50, I'll get some pics up tomorrow. -

Hey, Tommo, did I just ride past you on High Holborn - junction with Kingsway?? On your Harry Hall?? I thought at first it was Rob's Harry Quinn!

Me and the bike been home all day, so unless it was stolen from hall-way, no. There are quite a few bikes that look similar to it about London, people often shout and wave at me, but call someone elses name. Quite often its 'Paul'?!?!
What do you ride Jon? -

Thought I should say hi as well, newbie here too... some of you have seen me last sunday at bike polo. Yeah, the magnificent crash between the lime vitus and the sky blue fuji... Lovely rides you got there Tommo, so you're the guy who bought the Argos! I've been wondering who!

Elvis, the Harry Hall is actually a 1987. Thats its original paint too! Before I owned it, was a proper velodrome machine brakeless and on tubs. I ran the tubs round London till the rear blew during a CM just before Christmas. Lucky I wasn't moving but it still lifted the tail of the bike a foot into the air. I appologise to any one who was near me when it happened, I hope your hearing has returned, mine did last week.
I bought a new wheelset then, but I hope to go back to tubs, they were Record hubs and Mavic rims.Edmundane, I thought I might have pissed a few people off with the Argos, I did a sneaky last minute bid. Sorry about that, I've read in another thread that Jon may have been interested. Sorry Jon. I feel quite bad about it, I'll share my current eBay intentions with you guys. Anyone, got any suggestions for it? I would like it fixed, but its not a great start for it. 135mm vertical drop outs. Don't fancy a White industries eccentric thing. When I bought it, one of my intentions was to braze in track ends and re-set the rear triangle with a new brake bridge. But the paint and chrome is too lovely to take a flame too.

Hey Tommo no worries about the Argos, ebay is ebay, if you win it it's yours. I wasn't interested in it anyway, i had the same considerations you have on that frame before I even thought of spending any cash on it. I can take low-profile frames with my eyes only too... can't have it between my legs. Am happy now with my track machine.

I was vaguely eyeing the Ellsworth that Stef bought! It's just the way it goes (probably best not to have 2 builds on the go at once anyway...)
Hi, I been reading discussions off this site for a while now. Thought it was about time I register and introduce myself.
I'm Tom, 23 and naturaly... a designer, just graduated. I live in N. London, and have been ridding my fix for a couple of years now.
I might have seen a few of you at CMs, Im usually dressed like a berk.
I have 4 working bikes and 2 on going projects, only one fixed. I have a BMX which is a single speed I guess. Thats for sale (£50) if anyones interested
Heres a few of them:
The Harry Hall, My favourite, 653 frame, Phil hubs on CXP33s, Miche Primato.
My Mercian, 531 King of Mercia, Campag Veloce stuff, took this around Ireland last summer.
My Motobecane. Crap really. Found it dumped in San Francisco, fixed it up and rode it about, just got attched to it. It had to come home with me.
And one of my current projects (Project Argos). Got this off Roberto. Not sure what to do with it yet, the Shamals were going to be for another project (Project Bob Jackson) which is currently just a set of 753 tubes.
Anyway, Hi everyone, hope you all don't mind me joining you on here.
