Bad lycra is worse. Dicki just wore boxer shorts and 3/4 lengths for L2B and he was completely fine. I wore lycra shorts with padding and it was painful!

yep boxers and Cargo's for me, was fine. Although my seat did get a little uncomfortable around the 30 mile mark.

When your thighs are as fat as mine you'll find that a pair of boxers only lasts a couple of rides before you tear it in two.. :)

It's reassuring to know, thanks to the web, that people are mentally deficient the world over. Notice the snotty, condescending, bigoted tone of the comments being made. If you obsess over what other people are doing, it means you have control issues and have deep rooted feelings of inadequacy.
