i'm riding the 60miles to tenterden and hope to watch the sprint stage there. (then riding the few miles to my folks for a shower and food)
leaving really early and taking a direct route, not the tour route as it's miles!haven't sorted a route yet as i don't know the best way to get past tonbridge wells avoiding the biggest hills and busy A roads, after that i know what villages to head for.

Yes, he is.
I'm marshalling the prologue. On Sunday I might watch 'em again in London but in all honesty I'd prefer to be riding myself.
That's where the new-fangled sky+ box comes in.. all the tour stages recorded while I'm out or working thank you very much!!
There's the Tour de ??? and the Smithfield Nocturne. The Etape the week before. Bike Week this week with some tour stuff perhaps?
So what are people planning for the tour?? Obviously watching the prologue will be ace. I guess it will be manic but as it goes through hyde park it should be easy enough to catch a glimpse of the riders.
But what about the first stage. Does anyone have any ideas on where on the route they might watch it??
