• salmonchild i thought that one way to make a mallet would be to lop the end off a golf club and then attach a bolt to the end of the shaft which would poke through the plastic tubing with a nut on the other side to hold it in place. will a chemical welding product like jb weld hold the nut in place given the rough treatment that mallets take?

    anyone used these products and have any experience that could help?

    to get away from chemical welding, just drill a hole through the shaft of the golf club and the main bolt running through and put another bolt through that. almost like a '+'. that should hold it in place and will prevent any problems caused by the weld not being able to take the force.
