some times its in the bath:)
i had a bit of a fall out with the back wheel the other day,i was taking it off but it was stuck,i pulled really hard and it come off and hit me right in the face,it felt like someone had hit me in the mouth!! its not on the road yet and i should have new tyres by then so i didnt see the point in tightening the chain.
go on robb see what innuendo's you can find in that....il start:)
"i pulled really hard and it came off" ......your go:)

this is my benotto!
this is my first fixie and i got it today:)
never ridden one before but its got a flip flop if i decide to
ride the wheel. very pleased with it but hope to get it painted soon.
i want to put chopped flat bars on it or risers and just keep the front brake?
would there be any problems with that or anything i should take into consideration before doing it?
thanks

• #265
coool, what gearing is that? is it me or is the chain ring quite small
-
• #266
dont laugh!
but i have never had anything to do with bikes before eg rapaired a puncture once!
so im guessing i have to count the teeth on the chain ring?
if thats so then ill pop out and do it!? -
• #267
ok the ring i have on is 39T but i have a spare one they took off in the shop that
is a 51T. i asm guessing the bigger one will be too big. im only a little one. 5'8 and im 17 so i dont weigh much. -
• #268
well im not much of an expert either but i know 39 is quite small and 51 is a little big but it also depends on the sproket size.....of you go to count the teeth:)
even better just do what i do and keep it in your bedroom -
• #269
You keep a sprocket in your bedroom?
I daren't ask why....
The poor lad's only 17, don't scare him!
-
• #270
yeah i thought 39 is pretty small. will it being small make skidding harder as i had a go today
and it felt very weird! i think before i change the ring ill get some flat chopped bars on as
i dont think the drop bars are for me. -
• #271
haa i would like to draw your attention to the last page of this thread where you would find alot of piss taking due to photos of my bike on my bed:)
sorry joe,you may have nightmares now:) -
• #272
I'm sure there's been worse on my bed....
ahem
-
• #273
haha thats cool:)
if i just go into a shop and ask for a bigger size chain ring will
most of them be compatible with my bike? i am an absolute noob. -
• #274
it depends what cranks you have really, there are specific chain rings that will be suitible for you cranks.i dont think you have to do it right away but it is deffanatly somthing you have to consider.search different threads on the forum and read about it,theres sure to be somthing that will help you.
