Why should anybody other than couriers be eligible for courier races? Face it, that is what Alley Cats have always been.
I raced in them when I was on the road, and now that I am off it I believe I should leave the glory and exertion to those that live it day-in and day-out.
By all means come and watch but leave the Alley Cats to whom they belong and those that have built it: the couriers.
