Depends how well they are packed.
I shipped one of my bikes over from Oz and it arrived with a fscked skewer. Small price to pay and it wasn't packed THAT well, ie. no cross-bracing in the box.
Where would you get them from? Ask how they pack the rims and get postal insurance.
Maybe I should bring a truckload of Deep-Vs back from Oz.. I can see a market :)
