Ah this is a long term thing don't get too excited. Got to sort out my first build but with any luck by the end of the summer I should have built me a frame. Forks would be a distant thought but it is nice to know that it is possible to make them up. It's something to bear in mind though that frame builder should be able to make them.

I am getting there but still need to work out some stuff, I have worked out most of the fabrication (did a short welding course to get a "feel" for it) I need but there is quite alot to lean about geometory / general good design. I am lucky that my dad has a lots of tools including a gas welding setup otherwise the tool / workshop cost are pritty prohibative. Espechally in London. He is about two hour away but it's all good for a weekend.

yeah, i know how to weld, but im shit at it, and havne t done it in a year or so... good fun though melting metal and bonding it

I think Dave Yates runs residential frame building courses where you get to build your own bike
