You don't need a coke can strip, just use a bit from an old innertube or something.

not much thinner at all just a mm but im trying to clamp them on the angle of some riser bars ive cut down so its a weird shape to fix onto, think innertube could work ill give it a bash. cheers.

did u measure them correctly? I took about 3cm too much often a pair this morning. I think it was out of anger.

yeah well first time ive riden risers on a fix so kinda guessing for now how i want em. they were massive originally, but probably shave em a bit more once i get a feel for em

yeah, i had to scrunch well up and hope they dont start moveing.
probably a stupidly easy answer to this but i just got some new flat bars and there slightly thinner than my last bars so now my brake lever clamp id ever so too big and wont tighten. Any suggestions of a good way to remedy this? A shimmy made from a coke can, does that actually work?
