Try Brick Lane Bikes on the bethnal green road, just at the top of brick lane - they have a workshop and mechanics, best time to go is during the week when they are quiet

Little confused as to what you actually broke but if its the BB shell itself thats died then the only framebuilders of note in London are:
Witcomb Cycles - New Cross/Deptford
Chas Roberts (Croydon)However Ross down at Brixton Cycles builds frames as a hobby and the guy who runs KiwiCycles (http://www.kiwicycles.com/) works or did work at Witcomb and is based in E9. One of them may be able to help you.

Chars Roberts has good mechanics as well, but don't go there on saturdays tho, it's their busiest day...
l've a got a old raleigh pro-race which l've tweaked a bit. riding home l heard a massive crack. somehow the bb gave up the ghost. the bike shop reckon they couldn't get the shell-which was smashed to bits-out. either l get a new bike or a framebuilder to try and sort it out. is there a framebuilder in hackney?
