bolt cutters are not gonna get through a d-lock. You either need to smash the thick part off with a baseball bat or something, pick the lock, or use power tools. Most bike thieves are kids with croppers, who do not have power tools, and probably wont have the balls to spend 2mins sawing through it, specially in a public area.
