Yes. I swore I'd never wear lycra but there comes a point where 'undies' do more harm than good.
For me, that point was about 80k rides in Aussie heat. I've been a lycra lout since so now it's just habit to wear it.
If I'm going somewhere where 'normal' appearance is useful I may wear it under jeans or shorts but I usually sweat so much riding that I may as well walk/tube it if that's the case! If I'm rolling down the hill to the shops I'll not bother but 95% of my commutes are in lycra.
If I make it to the Southend ride I promise I won't scare you all - I'll wear something over my knicks! :P
(I'm actually waiting for some shy shorts to be delivered - not sure if they'll arrive before then)
