I use one of the Krypto D locks. Not the heaviest ones, the next down (orange).
These are just a deterrant against oppurtunists and I still think the best defence is not leaving bikes locked too far away for too long.
It's a pain slinging a kilo or more of D lock in my bag so I only use it for short trips to the shops (can lockup outside my supermarket).
