Do we need a fund raiser? What on earth for?

Sure there are costs, but I'm sure we don't need to fret about them quite yet. Shit, the server costs, if we fund-raise for anything it should be for beer for me.

Anyhow, have a laugh, knock up some designs, some serious, some witty, some shitty. There will be more than a few gems, and... don't worry about how they get made in the end, it isn't a competition to see who has the best business skills.

just sayin, i like thowing shows and partyys and what not, espicly if the money goes to a good cause or the comunity/ scene. and i know some people who could help pull it off, and beacsue i suck at art i thought i would come up with a way to help.

if people are down for a show or what not, i can talk to some people who i know aht have some squattede venues. we coudl pay some of the server costs as well. it might be a bit of a hard sell to some of them, but ill see what i can do.

I don't think we need to fund raise. At all. Not for my beer money (the server), or for these spoke cards.

If you want to throw a party, throw one.

If you want to raise money, raise some.

Buy a bike with the money you make, give it to a kid.

Actually I just read back... I guess we do need some money.

But we don't need a party in a squat to get those things, don't we just go to a pub as always and throw some money in a pot and that's it?

I've a new definition of being broke at the moment. It involves nothing in the bank account, a wife that has run to another continent and effectively is deserting the marriage, the wedding cost £10k and went on credit card, and right now with £7.74 in my pocket - all of my bank accounts are being closed (only way to get from joint to sole account without the signature of the other person).

If anyone wants to buy me dinner, right now I'm not too proud.

Yep, 3 and a half months, and this is what happens when immigration stands against you. I'm excluded from the USA, it cost me my wife.
