I was intentionally almost hit a few weeks ago by a black cab - he wasn't happy about me waiting in front of him in the cycle box at a red light so tried to force his way past, sending me into some parked cars. The side of his cab brushed against my knee at speed and it was close to miraculous I wasn't hurt.
He got even more pissed off when I asked whether he was mentally challenged. I set off, he tried to run me off the road again. At the next light he was still shouting so all I said was "48916" and he buggered off as soon as he could.
Hit these fuckers where it hurts. If they have genuinely and intentionally endanged your life, report them - which can be done confidentially. You never know who it might help if they eventually do serious injury and they have something already on their record.
