Which shoulder bag?

The wife’s in New York and I want her to get me a new bag to:
A) carry my gear for work and the gym [inc large pads and boxing gloves],
B) carry my 17" laptop in all weather
C) take on the plain with me for weekend trips
What bag do I need? I don't want day-glow stuff. I have no preference to buying online or if anyone knows a cheap shop in NY she should check out. All suggestions welcome.
£100 is my max budget.

Momentum

Get a bailey works from somewhere - they're meant to be great. Check out their website for sizes etc (the courier range is better if you aren't gonna use it on the bike, super pro better for bike use but more expensive). I think Trackstar has them, but search for bailey works on http://fixed.gr/nyc to find a thread about stockists.
