My favourite insult at the moment is to lick my "fuck off" finger before giving them the finger and then follow this up with a blown kiss. It seems to irritate people.
Mind you, i don't really insult drivers any more. I find it's easier to just accept that some of them are idiots - getting angry just ruins my day. Sometimes I politely tell them that they could have killed me and that they should be more careful. The ones who I still get annoyed with are those who deliberatly try to fuck me up.
Another way to retaliate, which I so far haven't used, is to hit the emergencey cut off switches on buses when they stop.
