You know - where your mind plays out the next 30 seconds in the space of half a second when you see you are about to hit something?
Mine this afteroon was on clerkenwell road, heading east past the petrol station. Solid traffic as usual and i'm right next to the kerb coming along and suddenly a motorbike (hot dispatches?) pops its front tyre out between two bumpers, doing a u-turn through the traffic to get to the petrol station. I see myself hitting the side of his bike, going over the bars and into the small gap of gutter between the van in front and the pavement. Instead i shout and he slams the brakes, i manage to wiggle past and turn to see him struggling to not fall after pulling the brake hard. I think he said sorry though.
