bugger!
I'd convinced myself these were well out of my price range, and decided on soma's.
Now they seem horribly tempting... -

for that price you can get dura ace high flange hubs look as nice and roll better

Any chance you can get gold anodized velocity Deep Vs, and Phil BB's?
-
• #17
Alex - you gonna use them for racing or on the streets? I have two pairs of Mavic Champagne CXP30 rims, one in 36 and one in 32 holes, tubulars = they are better rims than Velocity's in my opinion, and any tubular rim is way lighter than a clincher!

i've only just found out they do champagne ones :(
if only you had 2 32's and they weren't tubs, i'd snap em up, they'd match my frame lovely! -

If you want to support the locals, get Royce instead - it's nearly handmade in UK (the company is made of only 4 guys) ;)
Hi - i gonna order some Phil hubs and other bits which should arrive in about 10 days, is anyone looking for hubs and other PW stuff?
I can get hubs and sprockets (cheaper than Condor/BC) and othert stuff which is quite hard to get in UK, like the SLR track hubs (slotted flanges , lighter than the LF hubs, and also looks more "old school"), sprockets (Condor and Brixton Cycles sells sprockets up to 18t... but PW makes even 22t sprockets!), bottom brackets (their bottoms brackets are lighter than Royce ones, and cheaper)...
Oh and black anodized hubs, might be able to get red and maybe, maybe, golden...
