Not at all. If Roberto can turn up to the Fixed Gear London trip to Brighton on a geared road bike, than it's certainly an everyone is welcome policy.

Actually, I think that should be the firm policy of everything we do. Fixed and single-speed are not required, desirable perhaps, they'll be some peer pressure perhaps... but not essential by any means. Just turn up and ride :)

when im riding my mountain bike i constantly change gear.....the chain goes up and down the gears, its quite fun when you watch it...

Then only you and the person that you whispered to sees what you've said (and forum admin, but I don't give a hoot).
