Don't worry, I bore my friends with bike details all the time. But they don't mind as I fix their bikes for them ;-)
I've always liked Andy's Nagasawa
-
• #3
Yeah, that's a nice bike - really heavy looking lugs - I bit it's a really nice ride!

• #4
you have a girlfriend????...there's hope for us all.

I don't hanker after the other fixed wheel bikes I see around (not many round here)
there's a bloke on some bianchi job with wide mustache bars and a surprised look that rides through here every day.
and some geezer had the cheek to actually ride down my road on a black fixed the other morning.
there is a nice old black holdsworth (I think it was) that I've seen parked outside coliiers wood station. -

think the green Bianchi is the 3rd guy down

Cool, thanks. It could be.... I'm not sure though - the one i've seen has a more extreme top-tube.... I'd love to know the name of the frame-set so that I can start the hunt.
-
• #9
this one is quite steep he also runs a 650 front wheel
-
• #10
yes.... maybe your right actually I thought in the pic the bike was at an angle, but its a 650c wheel - that makes the top-tube very steep.

Think no. 3 might be max's (glow's) dolan. Well, it is if his deep v's have arrived.
Without wanting to be an arse, I'm in the lucky position that my favourite bike is actually mine :)

n.2 the pearl white bike sounds like our favorite redhead Sarajane... are you sure it's the bike you fancy then?
my favorite?
Tom's Argos! (N.789 in the catalog, in the plumbing section)
Just kidding - it's just a mad bike! -
• #13
That's a fucking sweet Argos! I'm looking to get one at the moment!

The Bianchi belongs to a brazilian courier called Marcelis. I might even be able to fix it for you if you really want it. I sold it him. The nr.3 belongs to a courier aswell. Hangs out at the Duke sometimes. Don't know his name though.

I'd really want that bike, or at least the frame - how much did u sell it for?
-
• #16
hmm that's a long time ago. But it's brakeless and has a chrome 650 front fork right?
-
• #17
My vote is for John's bike - this dude has style!!!

Jos hmm that's a long time ago. But it's brakeless and has a chrome 650 front fork right?
Yes, that's the one - it's a kind of weird metallic Celeste - i'd be interested to know if he fancies selling it - I'm looking at an Argos TT frame at the moment

My current set up. New wheels I just built up and swapped over from my mavics.

Roberto My vote is for John's bike - this dude has style!!!
That must be an old pic! Last time I saw John's bike it was way more battered, had a brake, and if I remember well it had a fluffy and furry red top tube protector...

Odge's has to be one of my favorite's aswell. Together with the one that roberto had. Mine's just a shitty work horse. One that has served me well though...Must add that.

Rattlebag Think no. 3 might be max's (glow's) dolan. Well, it is if his deep v's have arrived.

nope... no deepv's for me, thats another guy
Ok, I've been seeing a few bikes around every day and I wondered if anyone here owned any of them?? I'm going to put them in order of preference. So remember, if anyone is selling them this is the order for my Christmas list ;-)
A metallic Celeste green Bianchi TT bike, it has a really sloping top tube! So nice, I see the guy riding it, but he's faster than me, so I can never catch him to tell him how much I like his bike
A girl rides a shiny Pearl White frame, looks like a Pista or something trad. in shape. It's my absolute favorite colour! I see her every day in Soho from a distance!
An all black bike with Lime green DeepVs and matching BMX grips on a set of risers... I see this guy a lot - a very cool bike.
Anyone seen these, or know the owners - they have cool bikes.
Can anyone list their favourite bikes in London? Maybe pics. Or perhaps u guys aren't as sad as me - so that whenever you see a road bike you check the rear hub and then spit at the deralliuer or exclaim at the number of teeth on the rear sproket and discuss gear ratio with your yawning girlfriend!
Oh dear.... Still want that guys Bianchi..... Whoever u are!
