Southend comes up as 96k (60mi) in google maps, Colchester 120k (74mi).
I'd like to do both actually, seeing as I rarely venture outside London.
Do you guys generally ride back or train back? I've not tried getting my bike on any UK trains yet - I'm betting it's not painless?
