Heh, I can help too.
I'll bring some beer.
-

with retrospect, judging by the spelling in the title, maybe Saskia doesn't need beer ;)
or she was in a hurry, of course.

Oh dear, that was a rather awful spelling. I was in a hurry...
Dates should be confirmed this Thursday, but it will most likely be mid-late June or mid July.
I'll post more details asap.
Great. I wanna learn wheelbuilding... so if that could be incorporated I'm be extra happy :)
Jeeze, judging my this post, I think my spelling improves with a few brews.

RPM put up a post in the 'Let's Trade' discussion trading beer for wheelbuilding. i've also laced up some wheels (only standard three-cross), so you've got two people (at least) as options.

indeed.
three cross is where it's at, obviously radial isn't going to tax the brain too much either! -

Do you mean the Camden Green Fair in June?

trampsparadise Do you mean the Camden Green Fair in June?
Nope, folks from various groups and individuals are cooking this up. Food Not Bombs has been serving food, with music and occasional free markets in Altab Ali park (end of Brick Lane) for the past few months and the ki idea kinda sprung out of that.

Yep quite possibly up for that.
I have built wheels (BMX and fixed, both have held up well) but am no expert but am happy to pass on what tip I have learnt if anyone is asking, my main tip would be not to rush and drink lotts of tea. -

Is that a PG tip?

Sweet! I suggest the King Edward Memorial Park near Shadwell. It's right on The Thames and near The Prospect of Whitby (cracking pub).

This happening Saturday June 16th! Fliers are being printed Wednesday if all goes to plan, so then it will be a sure thing. So far plans are for food, music, stuff swap/free shop, workshops, games, plus any more fun things people come up with.
It'll be in Altab Ali park on Whitechapel.
I am heading to faraway lands on Saturday for a couple weeks, so let me know asap if you are still interested.

still willing to help out, but as it's not my hood I can't bring much in the way of tools and stuff. Would gladly share responsibility with some others though.
A free afternoon of music, food, free-market, workshops and hopefully more in a park is being planned for sometime in June/July.
Is anyone interested in being involved in/running a bicycle workshop/skill-share? Basic maintenance/knowledge to as advanced/adeventurous as you want/can go.
