Don't own a fixed bike yet so feel a bit of an impostor, but anyway here goes...
First got into riding bikes at about 14, when I got my first 'semi decent' bike. Started going out on Sundays with the local road club. Did a few time trials and stuff. Then bought the first ever issue of Mountain Biking UK and badgered my parents for a mountain bike, started racing mountain bikes at about 16 and pretty much did that until I was about 25. I stopped for a few years, bought a Singlespeed and started racing that about 3 years ago. I've raced a few different disciplines, track, triathlon, time trials, mountain bike DH and XC.
I currently ride a Cyclocross bike on my commute to work, which I'm hopefully gonna alternate with a fixie - Cyclocross bike is good for off-road commutes through Epping forest.
