Tommy Godwin is mine! The Brian Rourke with red phils is roberto's bike.

The clearance on that Tommy Godwin was CLOSE, DAMN CLOSE. I am sure there were bits of rubber on the down tube where the tire started off touching !! Some swell bikes out there yesterday. That lampost did have a very nice selection attached to it. And some of the bikes on the track were nice too. Those white Evans Cycles looked sweet and the copper / brass plated one was nice one guy had a very nice Gazelle similar to the one in Brick Lane cycles. And the race with the Triumph motorbikes was amazing. I have seen some of those bikes on ebay recently.
Did you see that Ambulance take the banking ..... I honestly thought it was gonna go ..... Women drivers !

I have seen even narrower bars than those around!

I guess if you think about how much of the flat you use on your drops, it's probably about the same size, I've got narrow drops and the flat is just big enough for a brake and pair of grips.

British cycling

Late night and girlfriend (or should that be "with") meant I skipped the ride in. I saw velocity boy's bike chained up and I'm guessing FixedWheelnuts is the blue one with "Fixedwheelnut" on the toptube?! Ray from Willesden CC was there. Spotted Jos at a pub after the event. As for meeting up, I dunno what you lot look like so not much chance! Scored a cheap jersey and arm-warmers from the stall near turn one. The gf and I managed to get nicely sunburnt too - her nose is still red! Twas a good day out!

was nice to meet you, those who were there on friday,
sorry i ddin't make the meet up after, i hung around for hour or so, watched a bit more racing then headed back out east.
here's a couple of photos from the day, more of the racing than the rides...
