Izumi... I know they do some very expensive chains but the one I get is £10.99, used them for years as a courier and race track on them too....never let me down....they're a very nice silver just like the more expensive ones, just wipe off some of the packing grease and don't oil for as long as you can....will keep it looking nice.....I always pair it up with a 1/8th dura ace sprocket....good match.

thanks Winston, seems like a sound choice
does the Izumi have any kind of quick link?
not that it matters really, I always carry a chain breaker.

These are alright too - reliable, and good value. I think Eastern is KMC...

PS. They have a quick link, but I don't use them.

i had an izumi super toughness chain, but sold it recently. It was alright, but a chain is a chain...
Now i have a chain made entirely of half links, and it's fucking massive!
http://www.hubjub.co.uk/etc/shadow.jpgBy the way, do you want to buy my spare sprocket? It is the same as this, in 19T

I use the Izumi Tough chain, excellent stuff, I just changed the first one at about 10,000 miles at Christmas.
It has a small screw with lock nut for easy splitting of the chain. -

great for grinds
I've got a halflink chain knocking around, it didn't like my sprocket/chainring one bit.
for some reason it's not quite as forgiving as a full-link chain

hmm, going to get a new sprocket, probably EAI or dura ace (any opinions welcome) and I'll get a new chain with that, so I will.
currently got some connex thing which is a bit gay.
KMC on the BMX always good.
Any recommendations? for 1/8
preferably not a £30 track chain ;)
cheers
