Grips are just Big cheese BMX grips with the ends cut-off. Work quite well. Come in a bunch of colours with white stars.

and Mid Life Crisis Bike on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
and I got a cheap and nasty Gitane track frame with tubs for the track.
and I'm building a Ron Cooper 653 (or is it 753?) road frame up
and Andy gave me a Merckx Corsa SLX for my last birthday... not built yet...

I like the mid-life crisis bike. You go camping on that?
Ah, If I can just get the wife into the idea of touring. Even just buggering off down to Cornwall would be gorgeous. A train to take you down there, and then just amble along the coast.

Yeah, that's the camping bike. Actually at the mo, it's the everything bike. Mudguards dyno perfect for an old git like me in the winter...

i reckon....
narrow nitto b123's, pro stem, supertype post, deep'vs on level hubs, retro dura ace cranks all in silver
top of with a white SLR or somethin minimal.
maybe hint of white bar tap, only half though...you wanna share it? ; )

I heartily recommend Fizik Aliante's. And they come in white.
The great thing is that you get an incredibly comfy and traditional looking white saddle.

i was thinking dura ace cranks, what do you mean by SLR?
-
• #67
I think he means the Selle Italia SLR
A quick Googling and yup, he does:

beat me to it...
don't like the 'gel flow' ones with holes in so much though -
• #70
i have a selle italia trans am, with a "gel flow" hole, very comfortable!!
-
• #71
Oooh i gotta get me one of those white ones!
-
• #72
If you're going to go all white, add a few accents with champion stripes on things :)
I was looking for an example, but instead found Tom Boonen's saddle:
It's a Selle San Marco.

Thats how its set up at the moment. This was how it was set up before.
Notice how the original UNDRILLED forks changed the clearance between the front wheel and the downtube. Clearances are crazy with even crazier toe overlap.

nice bike & nice pics,
i've seen a couple of people use the bridge for shots, but these are easily the best.
what's the frame?
personally, not sure about the stem though?? -

Are those star-y grips? Where'd you get them if so?
