  • as the title says, what bikes do you all ride?

i have a bob jackson and condor.

  • Two at the moment having disposed of a Trek and a Cannondale in recent months...

    This Bob Jackson:

    And this Serotta:
    http://velospace.org/node/580

The Serotta is for club rides, long distances, the Surrey Hills and when the weather is extremely wet (I have fenders that fit the Serotta but not the Bob Jackson).

The Bob Jackson is about to get some things replaced, the wheels for sure but perhaps the bars too.

  • daily commute: roberts track bike,
    back-up: on-one inbred

currently, waiting to upgrade wheels on the roberts and trying to remove the seatpost from inbred so i can maybe sell it!

  • This bike that needs a Sugino 75 crankset (hence the shyness of my current crankset):

And This bike that is soon to be completed with OR10 rims, Gipiemme SP hubs, Gipiemme SP headset, Gippemme SP chainring, Gipiemme SP pedals, Old logo Cinelli bars and stem, and Cinelli #2 saddle (ha! yea right :D):

  • Pearson Touche -- town, winter hack, training
Mercian Audax Special -- long rides, stuff that's too hilly for fixed
    Brompton S6L -- business trips
Orbit Routier tandem -- family outings
Knackered old Saracen mtb -- school run
Kona Fire Mountain mtb -- neglected on account of recently discovered addiction to road cycling
Tasty Ti road bike -- on order

It's a good job there's no more room in the cellar.

  • On One Inbred, Orange p7 SS, Bianchi 1885 and Omega Alchemy both geared (oh the shame, lol)

  • mr_tom:[None More Black on Flickr - Photo Sharing!](http://www.flickr.com/photos/mr_tom/287113176/)

    Such modesty:

Dolan Track bike, Ambrosio rims on Phil Wood hubs, Chris King Headset, Sugino 75 cranks, Fiz'ik saddle, Nitto flat bullhorns. All self-built, including the wheels. (32h, 3x. I did want to do 2l2t on the front, but couldn't get the right length spokes)

    "Some Dolan pursuit thing" eh?

  • A Condor '07 black pista....
This is actually my cycle that they used in the advertising on their site this year...
Go to 2007 single speed (as they are updating the website) and mine's the black pista in the photo

  • No idea what it is, got the frame second (more likely third) hand and it was resprayed, so there's no branding. Looks a bit like this, though now it has better wheels, saddle and drivetrain than in this photo.

Also have a beat-up old Kona and just scored a bargain Fetish frame for making something not fixed (for long rides on hills), when i can find the money to buy the other bits.

  • Did you purchase this in the UK?

  • Hello this is my Geoffrey Butler

  • Here's mine:

  • essbee:![](http://velospace.org/files/Picture026.jpg) Did you purchase this in the UK?

    Nope. Atlanta, Georgia.

  • In London

Emmel fix gear convertion, looks ugly but it does ride nice
Coppi faustlissomthing or other in Italian, in bits at the moment. I am thinking of putting it back together Adux style with mudgards (no eylets but I can work around that)
Old Fishbone BMX, haven't riden since the summer! bit small for me now got the frame when I was 16 or 17, back then top tubes tended to be shorter mine is 18.5"!! I keep on telling myself that I will rebuild / regreace it and set it up as a flatland bike and buy myself a new BMX but it never happens. Plus with four bikes in our flat already (one is the "g-unit's yall") I am already pushing it. One day when I will the lottory I will have a house with so many sheads I can store as many bikes as I want and a work shop so I can build frames. Ahhhh the dream!!!

  • Hi everyone, my first post here, I'm normally over at Cycling Plus.

Hopefully this will show a link so you can see my Pompino...

  • How did all these bikes go unnoticed by me before? London's too big for it's own good.

  • I change bikes every five minutes

  • Specialised Langster (i know, i know)
    Condor Track
Colnago Master Olympic (soon to be completed)

  • Langsters aren't so bad.

Someone on here (who has totally failed to introduce herself) rides one and her experience riding singlespeed was what inspired me to give it a go (you really can't shut up fixed and singlespeed riders can ya?).

She's just bought a geared Pinarello that she's gushing about... I think this means that registering here was her last excursion into riding with a single gear.

  • The Langster is the do-it-all bike at the moment, but it's ugly as sin. But i enjoy riding it, so i guess that's what matters.

  • My baby...

  • Here's my Jackson as it was a while ago. Now it's getting set up for a tour so it's got different bars and will soon have new wheels. As you will notice, I am pretty tall.

EDIT: how do I insert images into a post. I hate the internet when I can't make it work!

  • Momentum:EDIT: how do I insert images into a post. I hate the internet when I can't make it work!

On a Flickr page... click "All Sizes" above the image, and then select the size you want on the next page, and finally right click the image and do "Copy Image Location" or "Properties"... whichever is available and gives you the full URL to the image.

Then you just need to use that URL in the "img" prompt (click "img" above the message area when you post on here"), last tip... be sure that it says "Format comments as HTML" above the "Add your comments button".

It's easy when you know how.

  • Thanks - the technology is amazing. My cat smells of catfood.
