This illustrates how different the Midnight Special is. The handling is nothing like any gravel bike. It’s a road bike with huge tyre clearance (rando). I love it, but ultimately realised it was wrong for off-road duties.

North downs have everything from sand, standard issue mud, claggy clay stuff and slidey chalk - so depending on your route, different bits will be different. Unless it stays sub zero in which case it might all be great, apart from the chalk which will still be slidey as fuck.
Rumour has it Amey did that for his passport photo too…
