Doesn’t swatch own omega? I bet omega didn’t have much of a say or nodded thinking of how many will move up the market and eventually purchase a ‘real’ omega. Either way it is quite a genius move, very Warholian

Swatch and Omega are both part of the Swatch Group. It’s not the case that Swatch owns Omega, it’s that Nick Hayek renamed the group after the Swatch brand when it was at the height of its powers.
