Based on my experiences this week, don't get a VW Taigo. I've been blessed with a beige one for the week as a rental. It's really nasty. Other than the fact that I can just about get my luggage and myself in it, and that it hasn't broken down yet, it has absolutely nothing to commend it.

Which series as I've been musing over the 2010 on.

Love that you lapped in the 'ring in one! They handle great, although the gearing is very much set up for motorway crusing so always found it a bit flat. I think the rarer higher power model is just an ECU tweek away - same engine etc. Shame it never got the TSI like the Up!

Was serendipitous - happened to be passing at the right time for one of the tourist drives. It earned its little sticker though! Scariest part was driving around the carpark before entering the track - a lot of fancy motors.
Motorway cruising maybe, but not autobahn, lol.

In your family situation add her as a secondary driver. There is no value in her building her own policy.

I'm impressed. I didn't think you could get cars for that price x mileage any more.

toyota aygo / citroen c1 / peugeot 107 might be worth a look.
In rented one (Pug or Toyota I think) and thought it filled it's brief really well.

Probably. A big wobbly gutless beige Polo. With really nasty cheap plastic interior trim.

Hey folks,
Looks like I got caught speeding in a rental car in Brazil.
It works out to be a £20 fine but they mention 4 points.
Any idea if these will find their way on to my UK License?
Edit: It would appear not. Fingers crossed.

Best company for a pre purchase inspection?
ClickMechanic? RAC?

What price bracket? Where are you buying from? Which gives the better guarantee financial cover for missing something?

I live a couple of miles away from Kingston Deverill.. so another offer here if you need anything. Quite the cluster of members in the locale it’d appear!

It’s a lovely area, I can see why.

Great minds think alike.

Great work. Amazing how much sharper it looks as BMW intended.
I can also recommend going for silver wheels rather than yellow for a similar transformation
-
• #81523
Lol, who would have thought?! Silver wheels look so much better. Will get mine refurbed silver whilst getting new rubber soon. Mr Bangle designed some nice cars.

What is that, it’s lovely

Yellow wheels look really shit on that car.
CitiGos are great & very capable - I drove my mum's to Croatia & back plus a lap of the Nurburgring. The higher power versions even have a bit of kick (though that might just be because I'm used to driving a base spec van). Also somehow if you get the right version it's zero VED.
