Pic was taken before ride after a few hits off the track pump... The valve is a bit longer then what I would prefer but can't be bothered with swapping it out until the tire is due for replacement/unforseen flat or dreaded valve leak.

I have the same with my hed3 (long valve as well), asked a question in another thread if that's a design thing. I think your pic is my answer🙏
