I had one and found it wildly inaccurate while running. HR would be high for the first 10mins during warmup, and then low during the actual run. This was calibrated against a watch HR sensor, and then again against a different HR strap before binning it off.
This was while running mind, so ymmv if cycling.
Like samrensho, got a COOSPO alternative and it hasn't skipped a beat.

I ended up getting the COOSPO and tried it today. Turns out my heart does still beat faster than 135bpm :-)
