  • Chelsea were flaccid.

Chelsea fans getting fizzy too early.

  • Valencia led Real Madrid until the 85th minute yesterday and mostly looked good for it.

    We lost a real one.

  • Chelsea fans getting fizzy too early

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

  • Another relatively comfortable derby win today and another clean sheet. 9 conceded in 26 with 3 of the back 4 plus keeper being 22 and under.

  • "Ange Postecoglu's brand of football" would be an amazing pub quiz team name

  • I assume the mission of the team would be to answer questions from previous rounds instead of current ones?

  • Yeah.

Make a great start in the early rounds, then collapse, refusing to do the picture round because 'that's not what we do, mate'.

End mid table, and loudly tell everyone in the pub they always win on their second week.

  • Southampton in real danger of beating the unbreakable points record.

  • Five points between 3rd and 8th. Battle for Champions League places will be interesting.

  • Derby fans sweating that their only record is going away.

  • Away to MUFC on 16th Jan, good chance to end this abysmal run.

  • Craven Cottage the worst atmosphere all season. Maybe joint with West Ham.

Even giving them two pointless penalties didn't help it.

    Great views though:

  • The Cottage is the only place where I've felt deeply uncomfortable in a huge crowd, albeit outside the ground and not because of agro.

Big crowd for a Brasil Vs Ghana friendly, almost complete lack of police/stewarding to control the crowd/access and massive amounts of crushing going on. Could easily have led to many injuries and/or death.

Inside, it was brilliant, one of the best atmospheres at a match I've been to.

  • Liverpool completely abandoned the idea of playing with control today.

  • Miles off it. Trent's head already on Madrid.

  • Or just trying to make a difficult decision!
He was rubbish today, good to see Bradley back.
United looked well motivated for a change.

  • The Ipswich fans, all 3k of them, were about 10x louder than the rest of the stadium combined.

  • trent just didn't defend today, even when he was defending he didn't defend. someone skips past him and he strolls back nonchalantly leaving konate to cover the centre back and right side. even his long / through balls don't make up for that lack of effort. i'd be happy with bradley in there for the rest of the season, at least he tries.

he's off to madrid and good luck to him.

  • That pen was dodgy.

  • Why? Clear handball.

  • Slot's post match comments were great. He is very calm.

  • I don't think the arm was in an "unnatural position".

  • Really?

  • If we agree that ^^ is handball, then "unnatural" is the wrong word.

Supporting United, it's frustrating AF that they don't turn up with so much fire in their bellies every match.

  • I can’t believe that ^^ is the penalty decision from the weekend being discussed.
