You're too young for a new bike. People in their 30s and early 40s should be required to introduce a spacer stack first before laying down deposits. I know you don't really have any exposure to the bike industry so you can take my word for it. I have you know I have one cheap fixie and an expensive bike no one likes

I have one cheap fixie
Well, this is news to me!
-

I am curating my collection. Sorting the wheat from the chaff. Think of it less as a new bike and simply an exercise in refinement.
I hope to reintroduce a fixie, garage pending, in the new year.
The Omnium alone takes up the space of 2 bikes and I won't be using that out in the sticks. -

are you leaving london?

Left a year ago now but hopefully buying somewhere new in the next couple of months. Still within commuting distance

Hankering for an alloy fixed road bike.
Will it reignite my love for cycling? Will I lose the 10 kilos I've put on this year? Will I be cool again?
Maybe...Any 55-56s about cheap, shout

Shite, you too? Sorry to hear that dude.
I’m selling all apart from the cargo. Really have lost my mojo to ride completely.Maybe an old Caad for some short speed sessions?

Too spenny for the condition. I also don't like the paint job.
It's a shame the Tokyo Fixed Dart that ends today is too small -

It's ok, it was rhetorical. I know the answer is no 😭

I have probably the rattiest Langster available, I hadn’t thought it was worth offering postage, but if you want probably the rattiest langster…

Did I say it was ratty? -

Yeah I've always wanted one. Carbon would be lovely but double the budget.
The longer story is that I'm moving house this year, one of the criteria is a garage or big shed where I can set up my tools again and I've got a box of Columbus spirit and max chain stays to build a fixed road frame so for now, I'm looking for something temporary and therefore pretty cheap, few hundred quid -
• #497
Cor, that would be very budget friendly but unfortunately I'm still a bit of a tart and I still want something a bit pretty.

Bike's gotta match the rider <3

• #499
And therefore I should go for the ratty langster? Lol

I’ve got an unused raw alloy CAAD10 track frame (no fork) hanging up in my garage you can have for £150.
I have a feeling it’s a 58 though. Will check tomorrow if I remember.
In hindsight my XL Arkose was great too
