This is a whole genre of its own, people that have made crazy subscriptions in recipes then left poor reviews for the original recipe in the ground it didn’t work with their substitutions.

Yeah I've seen a few ig accounts of just that and some of them are wild, almost want to believe its a troll but you go and look them up and no they are just that dense

it's even more troubling when you realise they're most likely the matriarch of an entire family as dense as them and it sinks in how many people are out there like that then you get a slightly better understanding of how things like brexit and trump happen and you're sent into a minor depression for a few days thinking how futile hoping for things to improve actually is... or maybe that's just me.

Currently have a Facebook 'friend' that is an allegedly lefty person that made many very very transphobic comments, you tube links to transphobic hate mongers etc. She is now complaining that people are allegedly 'abusing' her in direct messages by calling her transphobic and unfriending her and she is hurt.

Does this count as an epic fail?

I had a fuckwit who falls into the same category as a former friend. Made her entire personality about being a transphobic piece of shit and was surprised when our entire friendship group told her to get fucked.

Or it just raised the curtain on the fact that just because a lot of people faced the same kind of bigotry and all fall under the LGBTQ+ label means they think the same or even like each other. Since before that label was a thing, some Ls have complained about misogyny from Gs, Bs have often felt looked down on by Ls and Gs, there was certainly argument about the addition (or even definition of) Q, and so on. A few years back, Glasgow Pride briefly banned drag queens from the event because some Ts said drag is transphobic, then reversed the decision when enough Gs said "This is an important part of our culture", while TERFs butted in to say "See? We've often said Drag is misogynist, but Trans allies only listen to people with penises".

Sometimes, when an issue becomes a big issue, you just find out things about the people around you that were always true.

Yep, it’s definitely a minefield, speaking as someone who’s mostly on the periphery of those worlds I know sometimes it’s best to try to be a good ally and stay in my lane.
That said, I have multiple trans friends who I’d defend to my final breath, especially after seeing the shit they’d go through just to go to work and live day by day in London.

Proud that my partners pole studio is proudly Q/T friendly and doesn’t take shit from anyone.

Thank you for replying, as I wasn't sure here was the right place as it feels like an epic fail but not sure on my part as I haven't supplied sufficient peer reviewed studies or they have watched far too many YouTube videos and read bias studies that didn't pass simple review nevermind peer.

Understand where you are coming from and really don't get the hate. I have many opinions such as marriage is marriage the term gay marriage is abhorrent to me. It is marriage, and I'm a lapsed roman catholic. No capitals is my addition. Have greater issue with people are serial cheaters and claim to have religious family values.

Also has there been anytime, in history, where persecution of a group of people ever found to be right looking back in the future? Yes I'm still annoyed at the persecution of gays that led to what happened to Alan Turing. As one example.
