Adam Kinsey told us about this event after ALPI4000. I've had it in my calendar since so if I can't do LEL this could be a neat alternative. Never ridden in any of the countries it visits. It's pretty flat too and although pretty broken, I'm still a unit though the missus is going to have to do some training to cope :)
Good road surfaces? You mean I can do a road ride with less than 50mm tyres? What a novelty!

I’ve not done SBS but several friends have. There is (or used to be) quite a bit of riding in small pacelines between ferries to avoid excessive time waiting for the next ferry. Good road surfaces, which would make a nice change.
