Sorry I saw this over the manic festive period and completely forgot to reply... it really depends on the state of the subframes beneath the rust. The big issue I had was that the rear subframe had a hole in which meant it needed replacing, and then you run into seized bolts and to top it off the Mk2 TT also has poor rust protection on the underbody so they dealt with that at the same time and the whole thing spiralled.
If the subframes are still structurally sound under the rust however then they will tidy up and Lanoguard the subframes, box sections and any of the underbody they can get at without removing anything for about £500. When I got it done a couple of years ago they had a spring promotion on that service at about 20% off, not sure if that is something they do regularly or was just a one off however.
